Not sure I see a lettering issue with the lens itself (they seem engraved, which not all are), even if I'm not a fan of the Tokina "F2.8" terminology rather than the more correct Nikkor/Sigma "1:2.8" or Tamron "f/2.8". The knobs look a bit cheap, but that's true of every TS I've used including my 19mm. I assume they handed the lens to a company who does budget product shots who may not be used to how much a matte (and knurled) black surface needs cleaning during handling look at the fluff on the turntable! I hope there's less dust inside the lens, although my TS-E Nikkors are open at the back.
